I most remember Joe when I was a little girl and our families gathered together one summer. I was hit smack dab in the middle of my forehead with a soft ball and my nose started to bleed. Joe took me back to house and totally took care of me. Then years later, in 1999, we had a huge Brophy Reunion in California. I was watching the video I took of this event. Last year while transferring all my tapes to DVD, I ran across the reunion tape and thought I should send a copy of this to Joe and Rhea. It had so much of Joe and his girls on the video. Well, I'm sorry I never got around to sending them one. But I promise Rhea I will do it now. I loved Joe. He was such a gentle and genuine man. I will miss him, even though we only saw him but once every ten years or so. Please know you are all in my thoughts. Love to all of you, Mary (Dean) Dilley (Joe's cousin)
