The deep sorrow of being separated by death from a loved one is indescribable. My heart hurts for all of us who know Joe. Yet, there is a powerfully comforting promise of God in 1 Corinthians 15:22 "For as in Adam all die, so also, in Christ shall all be made alive." Death isn't the end, but a "pause" until this event supersedes all sorrows, like the birth of a child supersedes all labor pains.
